Software

The software offered at UNIGE is mainly designed for Windows and, to a lesser extent, Macintosh. Support is available for Windows software, but only very limited support is offered for Mac.

No software is offered for Linux, and therefore no support is available.

As far as office cloud services are concerned, only Microsoft software is offered, whereas in the areas of web and e-learning (in particular), there is a plethora of free software available.

GULU is asking the Rectorate to offer Linux software and corresponding support.
